- Handle with Care: Avoid dragging or dropping FFSP from heights during transportation or installation. Gentle handling minimizes the risk of structural damage and prolongs the plywood’s durability.
- Proper Storage: Stack FFSP on a flat surface to prevent warping or bending. Storing plywood on uneven or rough surfaces can compromise its integrity and impact formwork quality.
- Regular Cleaning: After each use, clean both sides of the FFSP to remove concrete residue, dirt, and debris. This simple maintenance practice preserves the plywood’s surface quality and prevents buildup that could affect future formwork projects.
- Mould Oil Application: Apply a suitable mould release oil or agent onto the surface of FFSP after every use. This protective coating helps prevent concrete adhesion, making stripping easier and extending the lifespan of the plywood.
- Seal Cut Edges: Seal the cut edges of FFSP with a quality sealant to protect against moisture infiltration and damage. Proper sealing enhances the plywood’s resistance to environmental factors, ensuring long-term structural integrity.
